Celebrate the Lakes is the same event as last year’s, Welcome Back the Birds. We’re excited to bring together a diverse mix of agencies, community groups and passionate individuals to share knowledge, showcase the great environmental initiatives across the lakes and catchment. We will celebrate the many species that call the lakes and catchments home including migratory birds that make the long journey to visit the Gippsland Lakes each year.
